The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has invited eligible firms to compete for contracts covering maintenance of sewage treatment plants at selected border facilities and the provision of office branding services.
In a notice published on October 14, 2026, URA advertised two procurement opportunities under open domestic bidding, giving interested service providers an opportunity to submit bids in accordance with the authority’s procurement procedures.
One of the advertized contracts concerns the provision of services and maintenance for sewage treatment plants and pumps at various One Stop Border Posts under a framework contract.
The second opportunity covers the provision of office branding services, also under a framework arrangement.
According to the notice, the pre-bid meetings for both procurements are scheduled for October 16, 2026, while the deadline for submission of bids is October 30, 2026, at 10:00am.
The notice lists a bid security of UGX700,000 for the sewage treatment plants and pumps contract, while no bid security is required for the office branding services contract.
Interested bidders are required to obtain the bidding documents through URA’s Procurement and Disposal Division at its headquarters in Nakawa, Kampala, and follow the instructions set out in the official notice.
The advertisement provides an opportunity for eligible businesses to participate in URA’s procurement process, while enabling the authority to seek service providers for the specified operational requirements.
URA has advised interested parties to consult the full bidding documents for the detailed conditions and submission requirements.
