Dear Ugandans, let us put all our trust in Gen Muhoozi and forget about the IGG in the fight against corruption

Steven Ariong

I pity Ugandans who still put their trust in the Inspectorate of Government in the fight against corruption because they will not help us clean Uganda. In fact, to me, the IGG is just a name.

How many petitions have been filed to the IGG, and what action have they taken? In fact, it is better to be in a drinking bar thinking about Jesus Christ than being in church thinking about beer. As a concerned Ugandan, I think after Anita Among, the IGG should also be targeted.

Without Gen Muhoozi, would the IGG even dare to send detectives to search and recover all that has been recovered from the homes of Anita Among?

Imagine, ever since the IGG received petitions from associate lawyers, civil society organizations, and other concerned Ugandans, the only action I see on social media is press addresses, but beyond that, nothing.

I would like to ask all Ugandans to look at Gen Muhoozi as a saviour sent to clean up corruption in this country.

To be honest, these operations have shaken every department, and trust me, before the end of this year, every Ugandan will be depending on his or her salary, not through dubious dealings.
