Who is now in the bedroom, and who is outside the compound gate?

The day you learn that beer is too dangerous is when you take a lot of it, get drunk, and start advising the landlord to increase the rent of the house you are living in. That is similar to the case with the current troubled outgoing Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among.

During the retreat at Kyankwanzi, where all the newly elected Members of Parliament were invited, President Museveni himself invited Hon. Norbert Mao, the President General of the Democratic Party, to be part of it.

Hon. Mao attended the retreat as a Cabinet Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, but because he had shown interest in the Speakership, it gave my sister Anita Among the confidence to speak with authority, forgetting that she is not originally Yellow.

While speaking, she belittled Hon. Mao, referring to him as a visitor who should not enter the bedroom but remain in the sitting room. Hon. Anita did not think carefully that the owner of the house, whose bedroom she did not want Hon. Mao to enter, was still alive and strong.

Now my question is: who is now in the bedroom, and who has been locked outside the gate, not even in the compound?

I want to thank Hon. Mao—thank you, thank you for honoring the invitation of our mighty leader Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in Kyankwanzi. If you had not honored that invitation, all this would not have surfaced.

I also want to thank our President Museveni for allowing the search of the former Speaker’s houses, which has exposed rot in Parliament.

Afande Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (the Badman), thank you, thank you very much. You have demonstrated fully that you can put this country in order. Even if our Mzee goes to look after his cows, Uganda will never slide under your leadership.

Ending corruption is the genesis of development in any country.
