(Kampala) – Bobi Wine, the prominent opposition leader, served as a father figure today at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Gayaza during the confirmation ceremony for Samuel and Noeline Kibalama, children of the abducted comrade Johnbosco Kibalama.
Johnbosco Kibalama was taken on June 3, 2019, and has been missing ever since. In his absence, Bobi Wine expressed his commitment to supporting the children, highlighting their unfortunate status as victims of the regime led by President Yoweri Museveni. He emphasized the importance of community support for Samuel and Noeline as they navigate the challenges posed by their father’s disappearance.
Bobi Wine acknowledged the significant role played by Kibalama’s wife, who has taken on the dual responsibilities of both mother and father since her husband’s abduction. He also recognized the contributions of family members, friends, and comrades whose support has been crucial in ensuring that the children receive a proper education and upbringing despite their circumstances.
