The President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), Honorable Moses Magogo, fulfilled his commitment by delivering a UGX 50 million winning bonus to the Uganda Cranes on 8th June 2024. This bonus was promised to the national football team for their victory against Botswana. The pledge was made by the Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament, Rt. Honorable Anita Among.
The Uganda Cranes emerged victorious with a 1-0 win against Botswana during their match at the Namboole Stadium. The decisive goal was scored by Shaban Muhammad in the second half of the game, securing a crucial victory for the national team.
In recognition of the team’s achievement, Speaker Among, who is also Magogo’s wife, extended her congratulations to the players.
