Business Owners in Nairobi Strengthen Defenses Amid Rising Threats
Last Tuesday, business owners in downtown Nairobi took proactive measures to protect their establishments following significant losses incurred during last week’s unrest.
Across Uasin Gishu County, many investors and business owners have hired additional private security guards to enhance security.
“There’s been a surge in demand for private security guards from investors seeking to protect their assets from potential damage, especially after the unrest like last Tuesday,” stated Joshua Too, a service provider at a private security firm in Eldoret.
An investigation by Taifa Leo has revealed that some business owners have refrained from stocking goods due to fear of looting.
