(Mitooma) – Police in Mitooma District are investigating the tragic murder of a 7 year old boy and his mother, which occurred on November 20, 2024, at their residence in Mayanga D Village, Mayanga Sub-County. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime, while one suspect remains at large.
According to authorities, the victims, identified as Kiconco Susan and her son, Ahereza Blaise, were strangled in their home during the night. The alleged perpetrators, named as Kuribuba Brian, Tashobya Ben, and a third individual known as Milton, reportedly carried out the attack while the victims were asleep.
Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene. However, the police deployed a K9 unit, which played a critical role in tracing two of the suspects. The third suspect is currently on the run, and efforts to apprehend him are ongoing.
