KASESE, Uganda – Police in Kasese have discovered the body of a man in his early twenties this morning in Kasese Municipality, Kasese District.
SP Nelson Tumusime, the Rwenzori East Region Police Spokesperson, confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Samson Muhumuza. His lifeless body was found near Abooki Coffee Factory in Kasese Town.
In a separate interview, Mr. Enock Maate, the Manager of Abooki Coffee Factory, stated that the late Muhumuza had been working as a casual laborer at the factory. He was a resident of Kasusu Village in Bunyangabu District.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding Muhumuza’s death are ongoing.
