A fresh paternity claim has emerged following the death and burial of Ugandan comedian Kapere Lufotose, after a woman alleged that the fallen entertainer fathered a child with another woman in Kiboga District.
The allegation surfaced during Kapere’s vigil and burial, contradicting his earlier public statements in which he reportedly maintained that he had children only with his partner, Mama Trump.
In several videos recorded before his death, Kapere had insisted that Mama Trump was the only woman with whom he had fathered children, warning that any other woman claiming to have had a child with him would be telling lies.
However, a woman appeared during the burial proceedings with a different account, claiming to have information about a child allegedly fathered by the comedian in Kiboga.

Speaking to journalists, the woman said Kapere reportedly met the child’s mother several years ago while performing comedy shows alongside fellow comedian Amooti.
According to her account, the two allegedly developed a relationship, which resulted in a pregnancy. She claimed that the woman subsequently gave birth to a child believed to have been fathered by Kapere.
The woman further indicated that she had information connecting the child to the deceased comedian, although the claim has not been independently verified.
Reports from the burial and vigil suggest that the woman was present with the child but was reluctant to come forward publicly, reportedly fearing the attention surrounding the sensitive family matter.
The allegations have introduced fresh questions about Kapere’s family life and the possibility of other children whose existence may not have been publicly acknowledged during his lifetime.
However, no DNA results or independent confirmation have been presented to establish the alleged biological relationship.
The claim remains unverified, and the identity of the child’s mother has not been publicly established.
