Security Forces Uncover Weapons Cache in Landlord’s Rental Property
Police in Koboko district took action by arresting Zubedda Grisina, a landlord who had rented a bedsit to a suspected criminal. This arrest transpired after a significant discovery in the tenant’s room, including a pistol, 78 live SMG rifle ammunition, a plastic army bottle, and six MTN sim cards.
The weapons and related items were uncovered in the rental property of Zubedda Grisina, located in Nyelwa village, Midia sub-county. These findings resulted from a collaborative intelligence-led operation involving various security forces, including the police, GISO, and local council leaders in the area.
The tenant, known as Ivan, had occupied the bedsit for two weeks before disappearing by the time of the operation.
