Tensions have risen in Bukanga North Constituency as the incumbent MP, Hon. Nathan Byanyima, has resorted to spreading propaganda against his immediate competitor, Hon. Julius Tumuhimbise.
Our sources have discovered that Hon. Julius Tumuhimbise’s candidacy was highly welcomed and embraced by the youth of Bukanga North Constituency. Young people blame the incumbent MP for failing to impact them socially and economically.
The wave is attributed to the incumbent’s inconsistency in service delivery, which has raised eyebrows among the people of Bukanga.
On seeing his popularity dropping drastically, Hon. Nathan has embraced tactics of spreading divisive politics to gain cheap popularity.
A meeting between incumbent MP Hon. Nathan Byanyima and former MP Kamurari Jeremiah was reportedly held at Makerere Guest House, where Nathan allegedly requested Kamurari to contest again in order to reduce support for Hon. Julius Tumuhimbise.
However, the youth are determined to rally behind Julius for MP Bukanga North.
