As we rise to embrace this new day, I come to you with a heartfelt message and a call to action. Our community has faced numerous challenges over the years, and I firmly believe that the time has come for us to unite and work toward lasting solutions. The best way to address these challenges is by sending and giving your unwavering support to those of us who are stepping forward to run for Parliamentary seats in the 2026 elections. With your support, we can bring about the change we so desperately need.
I am Walusimbi Fredrich, and I am humbly contesting for the Parliamentary seat of Makindye East Constituency under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and the Platform for Liberty in Uganda (PLU). This is not my first time stepping forward to serve you. In 2011 and 2016, I contested for this same seat, and though I did not succeed, those experiences taught me invaluable lessons and strengthened my resolve to fight for our community. This time, with your support, I am confident that victory is within reach, and together, we will make a lasting impact.
My vision is clear: to bring meaningful change to Makindye East and to uplift the lives of every member of our community. As a lawyer by profession, I have dedicated my life to fighting for justice and defending the rights of the vulnerable. I understand the struggles we face, and I am committed to using my skills and experience to advocate for the rights of our family, the Abavandimwe, and all Ugandans who look to us for leadership.
The Council for Abavandimwe in Uganda has always been a beacon of hope and unity, and I am proud to be part of this family. However, we cannot achieve progress alone. It is only through your support, your votes, and your belief in our shared vision that we can turn our aspirations into reality. Together, we can address the challenges of unemployment, improve access to quality education and healthcare, and create opportunities for our youth to thrive.
I am not just asking for your votes; I am asking for your trust and your partnership. Let us work hand in hand to build a brighter future for Makindye East and for Uganda as a whole. To those who may not know me well, allow me to share a brief background. I am a lawyer by profession, deeply rooted in the values of justice, equality, and service. I have always fought for the rights of the marginalized, and I am ready to bring that same passion and dedication to Parliament. My goal is to be a voice for the voiceless and a champion for the Abavandimwe family and all Ugandans who deserve better representation.
