His Highness Jude Mike Mudoma the umukuka lll has acknowledged infrastructural development taking place in Makhai senior secondary school in Mbale District bieng undertaken by the Uganda people’s defense forces engineering brigade.
Stevenmasiga spokesperson of Bugisu cultural institution said as Acultural institution,we must commend such efforts which are bieng undertaken by the MOE and the UPDF in helping to support learning through construction of new classroom blocks .
Makhai sss is located off Tororo road about 1/2 kilometer along Tororo Highway.
Masiga said as Acultural institution,we are traversing all schools in Bugisu region to engage our learners on matters of culture, morality and other acceptable norms of the Bamasaaba people.we are calling this engagement with our Learners cultural talk in schools,this is an engagement between the Learners and the cultural institution which iwas assigned by His Highness the umukuka lll to spearhead in this region and will eventually culminate into the umukuka lll educational conference for the entire Masaabaland.
We expect very notable Bamasaaba to speak at the upcoming Educational conference and guide our students on variety of issues.
The Uganda people’s defense forces have undertaken infrastructure developments across Bugisu ,in Makhai they at 40% completion and once completed they will boast learning in the region and this will please umukuka lll and Bamasaaba immensely Masiga said.
On her part Madam Mwebaza Naume appreciated His Highness the umukuka for reaching out to the school on matters of morality through the cultural talk ,saying this is very timely and will help to wipe out any negative vice in the students community.
