Akullo Esther Nominated For Dokolo MP Seat, Promises Unity

Akullo Esther, a businesswoman-turned-politician in the Dokolo district woman MP by-election, has promised unity among the electorate and pledged to improve education standards in Dokolo district once elected.

Akullo, the proprietor of a popular radio station in Kiryandongo district and holding a renowned otada business company in the whole of Lango sub-region and other parts of Northern Uganda, has called for fair and balanced reporting from media practitioners in Lango sub-region during election coverage.




As an independent candidate, she has illustrated a friendly campaign strategy in Dokolo District to demonstrate a spirit of unity between herself and fellow candidates.




Meanwhile, Akullo Esther Obot, the independent woman MP candidate contesting in the Dokolo By-election, has rallied the people of Dokolo for unity and a peaceful election.




Addressing the media after a short interview on Tuesday, following her nomination by the independent Electoral Commission on Monday, Akullo Esther Obot confirmed her belief in unity, peace, and nationalism, urging people on the ground to uphold these values.
