Investigative journalist Tabz has released documents reportedly showing that a luxury Rolls-Royce was imported into Uganda through Anita Foundation Limited shortly before the country’s general elections.
According to the shared Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) import form, the vehicle was cleared under Anita Foundation Limited and arrived at Entebbe International Airport on January 12, 2026—just three days before the January 15 elections.
The documents further indicate that the nearly new Rolls-Royce had only 58 kilometers on arrival and was shipped from the United Kingdom.
The development has drawn public attention due to earlier reports linking Parliament Speaker Anita Annet Among to a similar high-end Rolls-Royce Cullinan reportedly valued at around £440,000, which she previously described as a birthday gift.
Critics have raised questions about the role of Anita Foundation Limited in high-value imports, especially in the context of Uganda’s ongoing economic challenges. The timing of the import has also fueled debate online.
However, Anita Among has previously defended her wealth, stating it is derived from her past professional engagements. As of now, neither the Uganda Revenue Authority nor her office has issued an official response regarding the newly surfaced documents.
