Ugandan rapper Keko has expressed a desire to renew her friendship with singer Sheebah Karungi, which had ended six years ago when Keko relocated to Canada. Keko returned to Uganda in September and initially stated that there was no chance of rekindling their friendship.
Keko had previously emphasized that she and Sheebah were close friends in the past but believed that her association with local celebrities, including Sheebah, was no longer her focus after returning from Canada.
However, Keko has since made a surprising turnaround in her stance. She not only suggested the possibility of a music collaboration but also expressed her willingness to rebuild the friendship.
During an appearance on Bukedde TV on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Keko shared her sentiments, saying, “Sheebah became a superstar. I am open to meeting her and doing a music collaboration, working together, and just rekindling the friendship we used to have. Because we were very good friends. And I am very happy for her. I think she has worked hard. She put a lot of effort into music, and she has benefited from it, and it is a good thing to see your friend excel.”
Keko also reminisced about one of her most cherished moments with Sheebah when they traveled together to South Africa to attend the Channel O Awards. This change of heart suggests a potential reunion between the two artists, both professionally and personally.
