A group of 15 employees at Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has finished six months of leadership training. The training helps them move ahead in their careers and also helps the company find future leaders.
In the business world, things are always changing. Being a good leader means creating an environment where workers can succeed in their jobs and in their lives outside of work.
CCBU has put a lot of effort into their Frontline Leadership Development Programme in the past year. They focused on things like communication skills to help people grow as leaders.
This program started in October 2022. It began with 15 people from different parts of the company. They learned about leading a team, going from a team member to a team leader, managing time, and communicating well.
Catherine Gita, the Human Resource Director at CCBU, said, “We believe that for a company to grow and succeed, leadership has to be strong at every level. This program has helped us build a company that cares about employee growth and invests in their personal development and leadership skills.”
“At CCBU, we’re sure that programs like the Frontline Leadership Development Programme will help our company last for generations. We’re committed to growing leaders, no matter their gender or anything else.”
