According to the Uganda Police Force, six aggravated robbery cases involving firearms were registered across Bushenyi District and Ishaka Division. The incidents were reported in Kyeitembe West Cell, Kyanyamabona Village, Katungu Cell, Katooma Cell, and surrounding areas.
In one dramatic incident at a bar in Katooma Cell, members of the public intercepted and arrested a suspect identified as Kankiriho Ramathan, also known as Samuel, during a robbery attempt.
