Uganda Police Launch Manhunt for NGO Owner Accused of Child Exploitation

The Territorial Police in KMP South and Nateete division are searching for Nsamba Isaac, the owner of PURE-LOVE UGANDA, a non-governmental organization (NGO).

He is accused of trafficking children and sexually exploiting them. According to information gathered, in October 2022, Nsamba Isaac allegedly physically and sexually abused young individuals who were under the care of his NGO.

PURE-LOVE UGANDA enrolls disadvantaged children from different parts of Uganda, providing them with education, care, and support through American friends.

One of the victims bravely reported the abuse to a concerned citizen who then informed the police. As a result, a total of 9 children were rescued – 6 males aged between 14-20 and 3 females aged between 15-18.

The NGO was officially registered in 2015, and any other potential victims are encouraged to come forward and share information with the police. The authorities are committed to combatting all forms of human trafficking due to its harmful impact on society. They want to assure the public that anyone involved in child or human trafficking will be vigorously pursued and brought to justice.
