Brigadier General Richard Karemire, who oversees Formal Education, Sports, and Culture for the Joint Staff, has encouraged students at Bombo Army Secondary School to embrace discipline and commitment in their studies.

He reminded the students that to become great leaders, they need to work hard and stay dedicated to their academic goals.

Brigadier General Karemire made these remarks while hosting Amanya Belinda, the Speaker of the East African Community Youth Parliament. Ms. Amanya delivered an inspirational speech to the students at Bombo Army Secondary School today.

Ms. Amanya advised the students to find a balance between their various activities and to strive for excellence in their studies. She also explained how the East African Community functions and why it is important. She stressed the value of patriotism and pan-Africanism.

The Headmistress of Bombo Army Secondary School, Mrs. Alice Mary Birungi, pledged to ensure that the students follow the advice and apply the wisdom shared by the speakers.

Bombo Army Secondary School offers affordable and quality education to children of military personnel, children of fallen comrades, and students from the general public.
