OYAM: PLE Results 2023 Released; 134 Candidates in D1, 832 Achieve Division U

In the Primary Leaving Examination 2023 released yesterday in Oyam district, out of the 4,212 candidates who sat last year, only 134 candidates received Division One, 1,390 candidates got Division Two, while 832 got Division U.

In those results, private schools performed better than government schools, as usual. Among the private schools that performed better is St. Mary’s Junior School Kamdini, with 08 candidates in D1, 16 in D2, and 26 candidates who sat for the exam.




At Atura Community Day Primary School, 26 candidates received Division 01, and 08 candidates received D2. A total of 35 candidates sat for the exam.




Meta Primary School had 40 candidates in D1, while 55 were in Division 02, with a total of 96 candidates who sat for the exam.




Oyam Junior School had 33 candidates in Division 01, while 28 were in D2.

Among the UPE Schools that at least received a first grade are: Atapara West Primary School, where 08 candidates received Division 01, 24 candidates received Division 02, and 135 candidates sat for the exam.

Dele Primary School had 03 candidates in Division 01, and 16 in D2, with 45 candidates who sat for the exam.




Otwal Primary School had 03 candidates in Division 01, 44 in D2, and 108 candidates who sat for the exam.

Meanwhile, Omolo Primary School in Iceme Sub County, Oyam District, is the worst-performing school in the just-released PLE results, with no candidate in D1 or D2. However, the school managed to score 01 in D3, 02 in D4, and 13 in Division U.
