With the recently released 2024 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results from the Ministry of Education and Sports, overseen by First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, school rankings have been officially announced. Several schools in Western Uganda performed exceptionally well.
Western Uganda’s top-performing schools have been revealed, with Katatumba Memorial Acad leading in Mbarara and Parental Care Nursery and Primary School topping the Greater Bushenyi district, beating all traditional schools there.
Real Quality Primary School in Kisoro and Brian Trust Primary School in Rukungiri also performed well.
These are some of the renowned perennial top performers, while others have newly entered the list.
