Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Yokuku Uganda
Education:
- Minimum O-Level Certificate and above.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
Driving Permit Class:
- DH, G, and CM
Roles/Responsibilities: As a Forklift Operator at Yokuku Uganda, you will be an essential part of our operations team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficient Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load and unload warehouse materials, ensuring they are moved to and from storage areas as per the designated locations.
- Accurate Product Handling: Pick, pack, check, and load products with precision onto/off trailers and to/from designated areas within our facility.
- Material Movement: Utilize pallets and crates to move materials around the facility, maintaining utmost care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Stack loads in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Documentation: Complete necessary forms and handle documentation related to material handling accurately and promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and ensure the safety of operations by performing routine maintenance.
