KAMPALA, Uganda — The Member of Parliament for Igara East County and Director of Mobilisation at the Patriotic League of Uganda, Michael Mawanda, yesterday hosted a courtesy visit by supporters at the PLU Secretariat in Naguru.
The meeting brought together committed members of the organisation for discussions focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation and expanding the league’s presence across the country.
During the engagement, participants explored practical strategies aimed at increasing community outreach, enhancing coordination among supporters, and building a more structured mobilisation network at local levels.
Mawanda emphasised the importance of grassroots engagement in advancing the organisation’s objectives, noting that strong local structures are key to sustaining growth and influence.
The visit reflects ongoing efforts by the Patriotic League of Uganda to consolidate its support base and position itself more firmly within Uganda’s political landscape.
