NSEREKO’S BOMBSHELL CLAIM: Anita Among “Cannot Walk” As Health Fears Emerge Over Alleged Blood Clot

Former Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has raised concern over the alleged health condition of former Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among, claiming she may be suffering from a serious medical complication that requires urgent attention.

Speaking during a live TikTok broadcast, Nsereko alleged that Among is battling a blood clot condition affecting her legs, which he said has left her unable to walk. He further claimed that her legs appeared swollen, describing the situation as worrying and calling for immediate medical intervention.

“Rt Hon Anita Annet Among is very sickly. She has a blood clot in her legs, she cannot walk,” Nsereko was quoted as saying during the livestream. He added that the condition, according to his observation, appeared severe and required urgent treatment.

Nsereko also questioned what he described as a lack of compassion in handling the health situation of public figures, linking his remarks to broader concerns about how ill leaders are treated.

In his remarks, the former legislator also referenced the case of jailed lawyer and former Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, arguing that some leaders facing political or legal challenges are not being accorded what he termed fair treatment, especially when their health is reportedly deteriorating.

However, Nsereko did not provide medical evidence to support his claims or explain how he came to observe the alleged condition.

There has been no official confirmation regarding Among’s health status, and neither she nor her representatives have publicly responded to the allegations. Reports about her recent absence from public events have continued to circulate, though details remain unverified.

The remarks have sparked discussion online, with some calling for privacy and verified medical information before drawing conclusions about the former Speaker’s condition.
