Internal Affairs Minister Maj Gen Kahinda Otafiire has launched a strong attack on Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka and junior Agriculture Minister Bright Rwamirama, accusing them of hypocrisy and misleading President Museveni over the ownership of the Njeru government stock farm land, which is reportedly being targeted by top officials and land grabbers.

This follows a cabinet meeting last week where President Museveni instructed the Attorney General to work with the Ministry of Lands to cancel all fraudulent land titles issued on government land in Njeru, Buikwe District. The President emphasized that no one should be spared — not even Gen Otafiire — and that anyone who benefited from the fraud must face consequences.

But Otafiire insists he will not surrender his land, claiming he legally bought it using his own hard-earned money. He warned both Kiwanuka and Rwamirama that if any attempt is made to cancel his land title, he will take the government to court.
