Six members of parliament from Karamoja region are currently crying crocodile tears after noticing that the people whom they paid money to help them put their names to be considered as ministers do not even know the gate of state house Entebbe.
According to the high profile sources coming from the camps of these six Mps who’s names are kept in secret paid shs 100m each Mp to the smart people who claimed they were identifying potential names to be appointed as cabinet and state ministers for Karamoja affairs the two positions currently ocupied by Dr Marry Goreti Kitutu and Agness Nadutu who are all facing charges for stealing ironsheets meant to the people of Karamoja.
The source added that these conmen were so smart to the extent that they were getting money from these Mps without each Mp noticing how many of them had paid the money.
“My brother our elected Mps are currently in tears and that’s why they don’t want even to reach to their constituencies, others go their at night and leave early morning,”he said.
One of the Mps who paid the money and requested to speak on condition of anonymity fearing to be laughed at by the pulic and his opponents told this publication that it’s true he paid the money to the boys who also move around parliament.
“They are so confidence, they told us Mzee was planing to do a massive reshuffling of cabinet and they are asured that us those implicated in iornsheets saga may not get opportunity again and that they needed the names of well disciplined Mps to be fowared for consideration but that can be done with a fee,”he said.
He added that he pulled shs 100m cash and handed over to three boys at hotel Africana in Kampala but later he noted that they were not attached to state house.
“Even their phones are now off and I have also noted that five of our colleagues from Karamoja had also paid the same amount to these very fellows imagine that level of theft,”he said.
The Ankole Times has learnt that elected Karamoja Mps are nolonger have reduced the level of tasking government on various isues affecting Karamoja so that some of them can be considered for the ministerial posts.
