On February 10th, 2024, Mbarara City hosted another exhilarating edition of the Mbarara Moto Rally at Boma Grounds, orchestrated by the dedicated efforts of Mr. Seth Murari, a true patriot and sports enthusiast.
The rally attracted participants from diverse backgrounds, transcending political affiliations, religious beliefs, tribal ties, and socioeconomic statuses. The vibrant atmosphere at Boma Grounds resonated with cheers and jubilation, underscoring the universal appeal of sports as a unifying force for all Ugandans.
Among the esteemed guests was Mr. Nuwagira Micheal Kaguta, fondly known as Toyota, representing the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU). In his address to the rally attendees, Chairman Toyota advocated for patriotism and encouraged support for PLU’s initiatives.
Chairman Toyota highlighted PLU’s endorsement of sports and entertainment, citing the vision set forth by PLU Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Emphasizing the role of these sectors in national development and GDP growth, Chairman Toyota underscored their significance for Uganda’s progress.
Expressing gratitude to the people of Mbarara for their unwavering support, Chairman Toyota acknowledged the positive impact of events like the Moto Rally on local businesses. He urged continued support for such events to contribute to the city’s prosperity.
Attendees lauded the spirit of unity fostered by the Mbarara Moto Rally and expressed their commitment to supporting PLU’s endeavors under the leadership of Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. They commended Gen Muhoozi’s trust in Chairman Toyota Micheal to advance PLU’s agenda.
