I have seen and read some of the comments raised by some Ugandans claiming Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is not fighting corruption but he is fighting the Itesots and also individuals with ambitions of becoming the next president of this country.
To me this is rubbish; you are the same people who have been complaining that the NRM has not done enough to fight corruption.
Now the government has launched vigorous methods of fighting corruption by starting from the top, yet again you are saying Gen Muhoozi is targeting the Iteso.
Can anyone give me the name of an Itesot that Gen Muhoozi has raided his or her home apart from that of Anita Among, who is even free and at her home right now.
This is a general operation to clean the country from corruption. Gen Muhoozi started by arresting top army generals mostly from the western region—were they Itesots? Please let us support the effort of Gen Muhoozi to end corruption in this country.
When the former Speaker created ghost jobs in Parliament, did she ask anyone? Criminality is personal; let her carry her own cross. Today it is her, tomorrow it will be someone else.
After all, what has Teso benefited from her being Speaker of Parliament? In Bukedea, where she comes from, people celebrated by drinking and dancing the whole night after hearing about the raid on her homes. If the people of Bukedea, where Anita is Woman MP, are celebrating the current situation, who are you to say Gen Muhoozi is targeting the Iteso?
Gen Muhoozi, please, you are our last hope, clean the country.
