The kind heart that God gave to President Museveni of being patient, calm, tolerant, and forgiving if it were other previous presidents, my sister Anet Anita Among by now would be decomposing in some forests, given the fact that detectives have recovered many things that even pose a threat to President Museveni’s leadership.
I pray God grants the same heart to our next President of Uganda, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the “bad man” General, because whoever wants to doubt it can doubt, but he will be our next President.
Honestly speaking, the heart that President Museveni has is so good; even most bishops do not have such a heart.
I remember when the President told us in Morulinga State Lodge that he was supposed to have become a bishop but he misbehaved. But to me, Mr. President, you did not misbehave; God knew it was only you who could manage to stabilize Uganda very well.
I have no doubt that when the time comes and God recalls you, I am sure your seat is well prepared in heaven. You are much better than some bishops who are not honest.
I know Ugandans will not believe this, but some of us who have moved around some parts of this continent have witnessed how corrupt ministers are being put on firing squads. In some countries they are burnt to death, in others they are stoned to death. Now look at what has been recovered from our former Speaker of Parliament’s home if it were China, Dubai, Russia, or India, what would happen to her?
Sometimes too much freedom is also dangerous. With this saga surrounding Among, some Ugandans still say Uganda is a bad country to live in, oh God.
In my own request, I appeal to Mzee that at least in this case, let it serve as a lesson to others, because when we keep forgiving these types of people, the rest will not learn.
How many people have died due to lack of blood, essential drugs, potholes on the roads, and many others, yet the money is stolen and parked at the home of the former Speaker?
