Hon. Nam Eve Tyan, an aspirant vying for the position of Women Member of Parliament seat in Amolatar District, come 2026, has vowed to go to the 12th parliament come rain or sunshine.
Hon. Nam Eve Tyan, commonly known as “Remo Alyet,” emphasized her commitment to advocating for and promoting inclusive education in the district of Amolatar. Her focus is on ensuring that both children with disabilities (PWDs) and able-bodied children have access to quality education, in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
As a youth councilor in Amolatar District, Hon. Nam Eve Tyan has been dedicated to ensuring that all youth have equal opportunities to thrive, and promoting the upgrade of Amolatar Health Centre IV to district hospital status. As she aspires to become the Women Member of Parliament representing Amolatar district, she is committed to amplifying the voices of the voiceless and lobbying for more development in her district, including scholarships, and solving problems facing fishermen.
While talking to The Ankole Times newspaper in an exclusive interview, Nam stated that “By taking the voice of the voiceless to parliament, she aims to bring about positive change and development to Amolatar District, improving the lives of her constituents and creating a brighter future for all.”
