URA Football Club provided new equipment and jerseys to its women’s team, URA-Kawempe Muslim SS WFC, ahead of the 2024/25 season, starting this Saturday with a home game against the Royal Dreamers.

(Kampala) – Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club has handed over new equipment and jerseys to its women’s football team, URA-Kawempe Muslim SS Women Football Club, ahead of the 2024/25 season. The team will begin their campaign in the FUFA Women Elite League with a home match against the Royal Dreamers on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Kawempe Muslim Ground at 3:00 PM.

The handover ceremony took place on Monday, October 21, 2024, with both players and the technical team receiving the new kits and equipment. This support aims to boost the team’s morale and preparations as they enter a highly competitive season. The initiative is part of URA FC’s broader commitment to the development of women’s football in Uganda and promoting sports across various levels.




The team is optimistic about starting the new season on a strong note, with hopes to secure victory in their opening match against the Royal Dreamers. The new jerseys and equipment are expected to enhance the performance and cohesion of the players as they take on the challenges of the upcoming season.




The FUFA Women Elite League, which brings together top-tier women’s football clubs from across Uganda, is set to be a significant platform for young female footballers to showcase their talent.
