Hidden Rifle Recovered in Kyotera Forest

A rifle was discovered in a forest in Kyotera District, sparking a police investigation.

(Kyotera) – A rifle wrapped in a red jumper was discovered today by casual laborers cutting eucalyptus trees in a forest at Kibutamo LC, located in Kibutamu Parish, Lwankoni Sub-county, Kyotera District. The discovery was made around 10:00 AM.

Upon finding the rifle, the laborers promptly informed the local area chairperson, who then reported the find to the police. Uganda Police Force officers arrived on the scene shortly afterward and retrieved the rifle, which is now in police custody.
