KAMPALA, Uganda — Equity Bank Uganda this week hosted a high-level delegation from aBi, the European Union, and the Royal Danish Embassy at its head office in Church House, Kampala, for strategic discussions aimed at deepening collaboration across key sectors of Uganda’s economy.
The meeting focused on expanding partnerships in food and agriculture value chains, with emphasis on business growth, technical assistance, and de-risking mechanisms to support enterprises operating within these sectors.
The partners also explored joint initiatives targeting refugees, youth, and women, reinforcing shared commitments to inclusive and sustainable development.
Equity Bank Uganda Managing Director Gift Shoko reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to forging impactful alliances that accelerate economic transformation.
He noted that the Bank continues to work closely with development partners to unlock opportunities that uplift communities and empower vulnerable groups.
The engagement marks a significant step in Equity Bank Uganda’s broader mission to champion shared prosperity through strategic partnerships that expand financial inclusion, boost productivity, and advance long-term social and economic progress.
