Roads & Transport
Several strategic road projects progressed or were completed, improving connectivity and trade flow:
Kampala Flyover Construction & Road Upgrading Project – Phase 1 significantly eased congestion around Clock Tower and Nsambya.
Mpigi–Kampala Expressway advanced, set to improve travel between Mpigi and Kampala.
Rukungiri–Kihihi–Kanungu Road upgraded, boosting tourism and agriculture in Kigezi.
Continued work on oil roads in the Albertine region to support oil production and logistics.
Stadiums & Sports Facilities
Construction of Hoima Stadium, a key 20,000-seat facility for AFCON 2027, commenced — an important investment in sports tourism and regional development.
