This follows a series of investigative stories, including one on the controversial re-appointment of a senior official beyond the mandatory retirement age, which has sparked public and legal scrutiny.
It is alleged that internal leaks may have led to the publication of these damaging reports, prompting top leadership to take extreme surveillance measures to prevent further information from reaching the press.
