Veteran journalist Steven Ariong has claimed that ongoing investigations involving parliamentary officials should be broadened to include individuals who were closely associated with former Speaker Anita Annet Among.
In a commentary, Ariong argued that the recent arrest of Parliament’s Director of Communications, Chris Obore, alongside several parliamentary staff by the Inspectorate of Government (IGG) and the Uganda Police Force, signals intensified scrutiny of alleged irregularities within Parliament.
