In a twist as puzzling as a chicken trying to crow like a rooster, our esteemed NUP representative, Mpuuga, has taken to speaking in tongues – not the biblical kind, mind you, but the kind that leaves everyone scratching their heads like a curious monkey on a baobab tree.

It seems Mpuuga has decided to hop around languages like a frog on a rainy day, hopping from Acholi to Lugbara, then Ateso, and even trying his hand at Luganda, all without so much as a whisper about the hefty sum of money he’s been accused of pocketing while in Parliament.

Now, if that ain’t a hare chasing its own tail, I don’t know what is! It’s like trying to catch a catfish in a dry riverbed – downright impossible and utterly bewildering!

While we’re all busy trying to decipher this linguistic Rubik’s Cube, our dear NUP members seem to have their heels dug in like a stubborn cow in the mud, demanding Mpuuga cough up the cash faster than a cheetah chasing down its prey.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. We need to bring some sanity to this linguistic circus before we end up more confused than a goat in a maize field.

It’s high time Mpuuga stopped tap dancing around the issue and faced the music like a man. Otherwise, he might find himself in hotter water than a fish in a frying pan, with nowhere to turn but the deep end of the political pool.

As they say in the village, “Kon, Lo’epate ka Anatari Akwapu wok kere.” Translation? Well, your guess is as good as mine.

Until then, Mathias Mpuuga (MP) continues his linguistic acrobatics, leaving us all scratching our heads in wonder.
