London, United Kingdom – A fantastic initiative supported by the Uganda High Commission in the United Kingdom has been inaugurated; the Uganda Europe United Kingdom Association (UEUKA) will be an umbrella for Ugandan Associations across the UK and Europe.
“This isn’t about politics, religion, or tribes; it’s about unity, progress, and making a real difference for Ugandans in the diaspora,” a proud member stated.
The goal is to coordinate efforts, advocate for government support, and deliver services to our communities. This initiative will bring Ugandans together, transcending party politics, tribes, and religion.
In her remarks, the High Commission, Her Excellency Ambassador Nimisha Madhvani, addressed the gathering, welcoming guests and speaking about the need for inclusiveness.
“As Ugandans in the UK, our identity, social cohesion, and economic development should be reflected in what we do. Our distinct traditions, languages, and artistic expressions, our diversity is our strength,” she said.

She urged members of the Ugandan Europe UK Association to coordinate efforts, mobilise and rally members to embrace their patriotic spirit, in a bid to contribute meaningfully to Uganda’s growth.
The High Commissioner also highlighted that government remains fully committed to supporting diaspora associations, in order to strengthen relationships and boost sustainable development in communities.
She also implored attendees to put amplify Uganda’s image on the global stage.
