Bulambuli County MP-Elect Hon. Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu has pledged to prioritize development and improved service delivery after holding a Thanksgiving Ceremony that brought together fellow legislators, leaders, friends and supporters.
The ceremony was held as a gesture of appreciation to the people of Bulambuli for entrusting him with the responsibility of representing them, while also marking the beginning of his commitment towards delivering impactful leadership.
Addressing guests during the event, Hon. Biara thanked his fellow Members of Parliament from the 12th Parliament for their presence, encouragement and support. He particularly appreciated their contribution of UGX 20 million towards the improvement of Muyembe Health Centre IV, describing the gesture as a sign of unity and commitment to community transformation.
The MP-Elect said the financial support will contribute towards strengthening healthcare services in Bulambuli, adding that quality health facilities are essential in improving the lives and well-being of citizens.
He noted that the contribution was a demonstration of what can be achieved when leaders work together with a common goal of serving communities and responding to the needs of the people.
Hon. Biara pledged to lead with integrity, accountability and transparency, promising to work closely with stakeholders to ensure that development programs reach the people of Bulambuli.
He emphasized that leadership should focus on finding practical solutions to challenges affecting citizens, especially in key areas such as healthcare, education and social development.
The MP-Elect also praised the spirit of cooperation among members of the 12th Parliament, saying that unity among leaders is important in creating lasting change across the country.
He called upon leaders to continue putting service above personal interests, noting that teamwork and patriotism remain vital in achieving meaningful progress.
