There was silence in the room—deep, heavy, and reflective—as Counsel Julius Nandeeba shared one of the most painful chapters of his life.
Speaking at the launch of his book “From Rural Roots to National Impact” at Silver Springs Hotel Bugolobi on Saturday night, Julius took guests through a journey marked by loss, survival, and resilience.
“I lost my mother at five. At fourteen, I lost my father. The future became uncertain,” he told an audience that included friends, family, mentors, and young professionals.
The event, held in a warm and well-lit atmosphere, drew a diverse crowd united by admiration and curiosity about the man behind the message.
In one of the most gripping moments of the evening, Julius revealed how grief once pushed him to the edge.
“When my dad died, I decided to give up,” he said. “I had reached a point where I wanted to end my life.”
He credited his aunt for intervening just in time.
“She rushed and pulled me out. That moment changed everything.”
But from that darkness emerged a defining philosophy—discipline over emotion.
“Number one—discipline over emotion,” he emphasized. “At one point I chose to give up, but discipline pulled me back.”
The book, he explained, is not a celebration of titles or achievements, but a blueprint for overcoming adversity.
“This is not about positions. It is about the process that produces results—the discipline behind the degrees, the sacrifices behind the success.”
The launch ended on a high note, with attendees describing the evening as both inspiring and deeply personal—a true reflection of a life rebuilt with intention.
