Lipton Palace Hotel to Officially Open on 14th September 2025, with Improved Guest Rooms and Environment in Lira City

Lira, Uganda – Olipa Tonny, commonly known as “Lipton,” has set September 14th, 2025 as the official opening date of Lipton Palace Hotel for public access.

Located in Obutuwelo Cell, Ojwina Ward, Lira City West Division, the hotel is expected to attract travelers, tourists, and more ahead of AFCON 2027, offering better hangout and accommodation facilities.

On September 14th, Lipton Palace Hotel will hold a grand opening ceremony, a significant event that will be graced by a prominent section of the business fraternity in Lira City and Northern Uganda at large. The hotel will open to the public with a focus on providing a welcoming and conducive environment for business, leisure, and comfortable accommodation. Guests will also enjoy ample parking space and modern amenities.

While addressing journalists on Tuesday, the Director of Lipton Palace Hotel, Mr. Olipa Tonny (aka Lipton), confirmed that they are expecting hundreds of visitors, with some already making early bookings for guest rooms, dinner, and breakfast.

He also mentioned that the hotel will offer standard WiFi services, aimed at providing reliable internet access to guests, tourists, and other esteemed customers after the full opening.
