CDF’s Message to the Governor Was in Good Faith, Not a Warning

Ugandans should learn to differentiate between a warning and advice. What our leader, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), gave to the Governor of the Bank of Uganda was friendly advice made in good faith as a brother, but some people are portraying it as if it was a warning.

As CDF, he could be knowing in detail many hidden things that ordinary Ugandans may not see, including plans allegedly being made by ill-motivated foreigners to destabilize our country.

Therefore, his advice to the Governor, whom he even referred to as his friend, regarding the Sovereignty Bill should not be interpreted in bad faith.

Yes, Dr. Michael Atingi-Ego, the Governor of the Bank of Uganda, could have made some statements about the bill which the CDF may have noticed could give foreigners an opportunity to frustrate our country. That is why he offered his brotherly advice.

Ugandans, let us love our country. This is our nation, and we must protect it because there is no other country better than our own Uganda.

Let us trust Gen. Muhoozi’s leadership skills, and we shall never regret it because even after the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Uganda will remain peaceful.
