Mr. President, thanks for that tough warning to lazy ministers, but you also have many lazy RDCs

Mr. President, I would like to thank you for the first time you have warned and promised to sack any minister who does not perform to expectations in helping get Ugandans out of poverty. Mr. President, I do agree with you and, in fact, this warning is even late.

You have facilitated ministers with new posh cars, escorts, fuel, allowances, and health insurance, but they are not helping people on wealth creation.

I pray, Mr. President, that this time you stand by your words. Let this term be the term of kicking out poverty in Uganda.

You have only mentioned ministers, but Mr. President, you also have a bunch of very lazy Resident District Commissioners, whom I have learnt most of them seem to be occupying offices yet they do not know their roles.

Mr. President, most of these RDCs only carry that title of RDC when they are invited for workshops, but honestly speaking, they are not doing their work. You find the whole Resident District Commissioner parking a government car and going to play ludo games and cards during working hours.

Some of them fear even to the extent of preaching the gospel of the NRM to Ugandans, yet the NRM has done a commendable job in the country. So, Mr. President, as you are stepping up to deal with lazy ministers, please include the RDCs also in that.

In fact, some of the RDCs have become community conflict promoters instead of being problem solvers.

Most RDCs even fear going to radio talk shows and using government airtime to sensitize the community on wealth creation. So this time, Mr. President, Ugandans are behind you in dealing with lazy ministers and RDCs.
