The headteacher announced that business communities are encouraged to participate actively by selling their commodities during the tournament period. Starting from May 10 through May 20, vendors can capitalize on the high foot traffic generated by spectators and participants.
Lira’s sporting infrastructure has seen notable improvements ahead of the championships. Over ten playgrounds have been identified across Lira City for training and matches. These include prominent facilities such as UTC Lira playgrounds, Dr. Obote College Boroboro, St. Katherine SS, Mentor SS, Adyel Primary School playgrounds, Amabalal grounds, All Saints University playground, Canon Lawrence Boroboro playground, among others. These venues have been carefully assessed to ensure they meet national standards for hosting competitive football matches.
