APAC DISTRICT – A violent attack at Apac Seed Secondary School late Sunday night left seven students injured, police have confirmed. The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 pm on April 5, 2026, when a group of about 15 armed assailants stormed the school premises.
According to the Territorial Police in Apac District, the attackers were armed with pangas and knives. The violence unfolded after a suspect was first spotted near the girls’ dormitory. When male students moved to identify the individual, the suspect fled by jumping over the school fence. One student who gave chase was ambushed and seriously cut by a waiting group of attackers.
The injured student’s alarm drew six others to the scene, but they were met by a larger group of roughly 15 assailants. In the confrontation that followed, all seven students sustained injuries — three of them severely, with wounds to the head, neck, hands, and ribs.
