Equity Bank marked its anniversary in a meaningful way this weekend by launching a tree planting initiative at the Golf Course and Doko Cell. The event was led by the Umukuka, a passionate conservationist and local leader, highlighting the Bank’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

As part of its long-term environmental strategy, Equity Bank plans to plant 60,000 trees across the Bugisu and Kigezi subregions over the next two years. The initiative is aimed at promoting green spaces, mitigating climate change, and encouraging community participation in conservation efforts.
