STEVEN ARIONG: Did a Holy Pope Give Anita Among a Good Anointing Oil, or Did She Fail to Follow the Rules of That Oil?

Steven Ariong

For us Christian believers, having a chance to visit and kiss the hands of the Holy Pope in Rome is something very, very rare. By the time you reach the Holy Pope, it means you are just next to God the Creator.

The prayers of the Holy Pope and the anointing oil from the Pope are believed to cleanse sins and call for repentance. I think my sister did not openly repent before God’s eyes in front of our Holy Pope for how she tormented innocent people and how she allegedly looted resources meant for poor Ugandans.

For those who may not know what anointing oil is all about, this oil holds deep historical and spiritual significance, primarily rooted in the Bible, where it serves as a physical symbol of the Holy Spirit. It is used to tangibly express faith during prayers, acting not as a magical tool but as a representation of God’s presence, consecration, and healing.

What my sister should have done after receiving this oil was to return to Uganda and organize special prayers where she would kneel before the public and ask for forgiveness for all that she did to various people. But instead, she continued keeping resources inside her house, yet she knew that she had acquired them through unacceptable means.

We should also not run away from the fact that a woman married into a Muslim family went to receive Holy Communion and anointing oil instead of going to Mecca. This could also be another issue because the Holy Spirit of Prophet Muhammad may not be matching with the Holy Spirit of God.

More surprisingly, she went alone to Rome to meet the Holy Pope without her husband, Magogo, accompanying her.

In fact, I would advise my sister to concentrate on following Muslim teachings instead of confusing the two spirits, which may prevent her from having peace.

I also wonder why our Catholic Church continues giving Holy Communion to a wife of a Muslim. Have we lacked Christians who need that Holy Communion, or is there an expiry date for that altar bread, so it should be given out before it expires?

My sister Among, repent, repent, repent. Ugandans, especially the Iteso, are not happy with you for what you did to them. You are free to hate me, but I tell you the truth. I do not hide, and I do not hate you.
